Understood. And thanks for the highlight as this is not really clean : in my mind, It seems that the waves site is completly unclear and at the origin of the confusion. Because @ http://www.waves.com/plugins/soundshifter, they sell the plugin at 29$ and they have too the picture with graphics. It is necessary to click on the supported host tab to discover what you are highlighting:

Pro Tools 11.0.1 - 11.1.3 (AAX Native 64-bit, Audiosuite)
SoundShifter Graphic & Parametric support AudioSuite only.

Pro Tools 9.0.5 - 10.3.9 (RTAS, Audiosuite)

i just tried the demo and dunno whats special about it. just octave up or down with different modes, thats it.?

In regards to the Numark Orbit Wireless MIDI Controller offer posted on the deals thread.

Looks interesting for the money, bu the built in lithium battery is pretty much limiting the life of the product, which could be a concern.

Anyone got one?

Planned use is with ableton and strap it to my bass or guitar to trigger effects Ala Moldover.
The accelermeter should make it fun, not mentioning the giant knob...phnaar

Be good to know how you get on. Nearly jumped as after a midi trigger purely for cubase 7.5 group channels, then realised be good with trackor and a versatile wifi midi controller...lots of plus's for the cash tbh. Just wonder how long it lasts and what's the resolve once that battery goes. Guess remove the hodd and order from China

Does anyone have an idea how to download the plugin itself? I've got the license manager, the license is in it and I even activated it, but can't figure out a way to download the channel strip...

I didn't get an email. After registering, it went to a page with download links for the installers. The licence was deposited in my ilok account straight away.

For anyone still waiting you can find the download links by searching the filenames on Google etc. UltraChannel-2.0.5-osx-installer.dmg for Mac and UltraChannel-2.0.5-windows-installer.zip for Windows. Both hosted by cloudfront. I seem to recall there being some problems with people posting links to installers before (maybe with Supercharger) so I won't post the full links but you'll find them easily with this info.

As a bonus you'll even find someone trying to sell it on ebay for 50e.
