Free-No Fees
NFR?

Just wondering, i have never bought xils product before.
I got this info from XILS

You have to manage the eLicenser or iLok transfer your self, then send
us the name email of the new owner in order to update the data base.
For iLok, the license transfer is done through the iLok server (PACE is
asking a $25 fee for this), for eLicenser, only physical eLicenser
holding the license can be exchanged with the owner (you can only
transfer licenses between two eLicenser when they are plugged into the
same computer).

We allow license transfers. $15 fee is required. License doesnt become NFR afterwards.
Works at KV331 Audio
SynthMaster voted #1 in MusicRadar's "Best Synth of 2019" poll
SynthMaster One voted #4 in MusicRadar's "Best Synth of 2019" poll

I would like to know as well as I would be selling my license plus my patches (two dozen or so) for $30. It uses too much CPU, my computer can't really handle more than 2 to 4 instances, depending on the patch...

I'd also like to know about this. I've seen copies for sale but wasn't sure if I'd be the only owner or I'd get stung when I went to register the key.

they may not charge a fee themselves but you still have the iLok fee.
I don't know what to write here that won't be censored, as I can only speak in profanity.

I know Studio One can be transferred once, but does it become NFR after that?

Their wording in their transfer FAQ is rather ambiguous (cannot be undone).

It's 9 months, then transfers are free. Everything before ... ask.
Transfers don't become NFRs.
I don't work here, I just feed the trolls.

From the Slate office...
To sell or transfer your software you will need to do 3 things: -

- First, please inform us via a support ticket at http://www.slatedigital.com/support/ you wish to proceed with a sale, and to whom (name and e-mail address) this will be.

- Secondly, you will need to transfer the iLok license to the new owner. This can be done via the iLok License Manager.

- Thirdly, is an account transfer procedure with us...

There is a $10 transfer fee "per product". Please send amount through Paypal, made payable to tori AT stevenslate.com

Please then reply to your support ticket receipt confirmation that it has been paid. And, once this fee is paid, we will author a new passcode, remove product from your account area, and send passcode and registration link to the new owner via e-mail.

Thanks,

Slate Digital / Steven Slate Drums
