honestly I'm not a serious (potential) customer but maybe that will change after awhile.. this thing looks awesome on paper..
but just a few questions that I cant quite figure out..
if I have a synth like Tassman4 that has Challenge-Response Copy protection, how do I authorize it to work on a receptor?
also will there been special plugins (synths and/or effects) created just for receptor?

All the officially supported premium plugins use iLok for copy protection. Receptor does allow for installation other 3rd party plugins but those are un-supported.
As for Tassman, we plan to release that for Receptor, you would need to contact Applied Acoustics Systems to see if they will offer a cross grade price.
There have not been any plugins created just for Receptor but all the shipping plugins were installed and tested before being released.
I hope this answers all your questions, we are happy to answer any additional ones you may have.
