I can't see any values?

How do I activate the little message box that's supposed to appear every time you turn a knob and show you the number or value you're tweaking the knob to? I'm trying to use the AdSynth to re-create an instrument and it'd be very helpful if I could actually see what it is I'm doing. Thanks

Edit: For a little more information. I use ZynAddSubFx with FL Studio 10 which will be updated to 11 in a minute. I also have Windows 8 but when I had XP I still could never see any values when I turned the knobs.

What you are referring to are called 'tool-tips'. They are disabled by default in order to make Zyn's windows 'On Top'.

to quote the readme...
VST_README.txt wrote:- If you choose to have Zyn's windows on top of the host (settings dialog), all tooltips will NOT be shown
(technical FLTK reasons...)
- If you wish to see the tooltips, please deactivate the option.
Hit File > Settings, and untick 'On Top'. Then reload the synth.

You can also see a knob's value by hitting ctrl+left mouse button.
