copying instruments

i know i can conveniently paste voice parameters, effects settings within the synth, but can i do this with a whole instruments?
there doesn't seem to by a C / P button for an instrument..

Hmmm, why not simply save as new instrument?

I think you can just save to some bank and then reload it from there.

Yep. Exactly what I do when I want to play with a sound but don't want to risk spoiling the original.

Do remember to rename it before working on it!
