Hi, I got a Macbook Pro 10.9.3 Logic X and Pro Tools. Now I want to play an VST on my Logic X or Pro Tools. I can´t load the .dll with my bluecataudio Patchwork. What´s wrong ? Is there a way to load .dlls with a Mac or not ?

.dll files are not designed for Macs. They are Windows libraries, compiled to work in Windows, using library conventions dictated by Windows. You would need the Mac-specific version of that plugin.

The only possible way involves running a Windows emulation layer on your Mac, but its a complex and somewhat unwieldy approach, and in no way guaranteed to even work for your plugin in the first place.ims wrote:There is no Mac specific version of this VSTplugin. So there is no other way ?

And Im not even sure whether it'll work inside Patchwork or not.
