Hi!

It would be great if the synth would be completely CPU bypassed when the bypass button is off.
Or when you have loaded a 1GB kontakt library for ex if there was a "ram" button to temporary unload it from memory but when it's on it loads the preset back again.

This would be very useful features :)

If the synth loaded into PatchWork implements its own bypass then this is what we use and may indeed consume some CPU, depending on the plug-in. It should otherwise be fully "CPU bypassed".

If you really want to make sure the synth does not do anything, then you can instantiate it in a parallel chain and use the chain on/off button to completely disable any kind of processing (may cause clicks and pops though). It is also something that you can automate.

Unloading/Reloading a plug-in when bypassed would not work well because it would cause pops/clicks and drop outs when working with low latency. You can actually already do it manually using "cut" then "paste" to remove and put the plugin back.
