Sometimes Patchwork receives midi from my MPK261 ... and sometimes it doesn't.

Anyone else seen this issue -- and have a suggestion?

Thanks.

SOLVED: Pilot error. Solution = FIRST turn on MPK261, THEN turn on the computer. :dog:

Hi,
Thank you for your post. Are you using the standalone or plug-in version? Also, is it on Mac OSX or Windows?

Post

Thanks. Sorry - I suppose that would indeed be helpful information... Standalone version on Win 7 Pro 64 bit. The MPK261 is new, and Patchwork got along swimmingly with my last keyboard (ye olde Motif 6).

Is it connected directly thru USB with its own driver or via a MIDI interface? It could be an issue with the MIDI driver if connected directly

Post

I suspect that it could be the driver. I'll chase that down. Thanks.

SOLVED: Nope. Wasn't the driver. Was THIS driver (i.e., me) -- see my edited initial post...
