can't get wamp & wide boy to work

well all, I installed the wamp, it comes on when i select it in winamps dsp, it will not accept the wide boy dll however, message says it's not supported, it will play selected songs but volume & balance controls within wamp are non functional. I uninstalled & reinstalled but no change. I'm using winamps latest version on an xp o/s. Are there any troubleshooter guides from this developer? This gadget appears to be useful, any help would be appreciated. cheers.....bob
