sorry, once again, the link was buggy:
Hi everybody,
just wanted to let you know that i made new High Quality Impulse Responses from 2 legendary guitar amps.
They sound ways better than the Internal cabinets. I offer them for free as donationware:

Have fun and stay tuned,

Unfortunately, I can download only 82 bytes of each file. I tried different browsers and a download manager.

Can people just sample IR's off their gear and then sell them?
Is that legal?
Are there some restrictions on that?

I thought about that ...but can you buy a synth and then program it and make money from that? I suspect the same rules apply, otherwise it would be ridiculous for a hardware dev to say "you can't sell anything made from our whatever!" This would potentially make ALL music illegal.mkdr wrote:Can people just sample IR's off their gear and then sell them?

Anyone have the Fokke van Saane IRs converted into wav? I really liked his other ones, especially the speakers (to die for!).

If you pass music through a reverb unit, it's your music just the same, no royalties are due to the effect manufacturer. Why should it be different just because you're passing an impulse or a sweep?

I'm looking for the ALESIS QS 8 monster piano reverb... anyone knows where I could find it or one pretty close? (I do own Valhalla Room).
Thanks!
Thanks!

So I used the sdTwoWav to create the Space Echo but is there anyone that confirm that I did it right? I'm not really hearing the echo:Debutante wrote:A few of them aren't converted, but you can do that yourselflazymarc wrote:look heremridlen wrote:Anyone have the Fokke van Saane IRs converted into wav? I've only mainly used cabinet simulation so I'm not sure how deep the reverb is supposed to sound. Also I didn't put an amp in front of the audio.... do I need to?
