I usually don't find anything to brag about as far as IR files for guitar(cab impulses), but I found one by Rosen digital that is great (compared to their other impulses...I own about half of them). Anyhow, it was on sale for $6 instead of $8 it's a Marshall 1960B JMP. Well, it's not on sale anymore, but It's got a very balanced body to it. http://www.rosen.digital/studio-guitar-impulses/4x12/

The free SIR1 is no longer available. Do you guys know of any free/affordable (I'm not willing to pay a few hundred bucks for a convo reberb) ? There was this Reverberate LE. But I can't deal with a white GUI.

The GUI looks a little funny. But at least it's not white. So it's OK.
Not a zillion of features I won't use anyway. So that's great too !

Ah, the Melda one. Yea, they've got thsi eternal madenss offers going on all the time. I'll have to check that out too.

There's this XR-1 convo reverb too. $20 only ! But I've no idea if it's good.

NadIR from Ignite Amps is free and works well. Allows you to load two cabs with high and low pass filtering, sample delay, panning and zero latency. Dark, simple interface.

We've released a free impulse response bank, Vintage Mics.
It features 40 impulse responses of vintage microphones from 20 manufactures. Mostly ribbon microphones from the 30s to the 70s. Courtesy of the Microphone Impulse Response Project.

The bank was made for our convolution plugin Fog Convolver, but you can use the WAVs in any other convolution plugin.
