Since no one mentioned it, I highly suggest Loomer Sequent, it combines gate, looper (loads of things inside) filter etc .. It can be simple or complicatedif you want it to.

Tried it, loved it, bought it ... Simple as that.

What are the best Rhythmic Gate FX???
