I have a new ValhallaShimmer beta available for OSX.
Features:
- AAX 32/64 bit versions
- VST 64 bit for OSX
- The other plugin formats that were already there (32/64 bit VST, 32/64 bit AU, RTAS)
- Installer! No more manual installs of individual plugins.
- DAW-format presets installed into the proper folders (for AU, AAX and RTAS)
If you own ValhallaShimmer and use it on OSX, feel free to check out the beta:

Wouldn't it make sense to also implement factory presets ?

You mean the cross-platform presets I use in VVV/VRoom/UberMod? Unfortunately, the Shimmer code base predates this, and there is a different preset code in place, that would break if I implemented the cross-platform preset code.Krakatau wrote:Wouldn't it make sense to also implement factory presets ?

According to Warren Cann, Eno (who produced Ultravox in the early days) would put small pictures next to the knobs on his synth, one of those pictures was a sheep, when questioned why he did that, he said because twekaing the dial makes the sound go "woolly"ontol wrote:Eno hasn't admitted to it, but cats are one of his secret studio weapons.

A resizeable GUI would be nice, but I'm more interested in having a preset-browser like on the rest of the awesome product-line.U-o wrote:Hello,
