INTRO DEALS: http://www.2caudio.com/promo/2018breeze2/

Breeze 2.0 is the first member of the next generation of our award-winning reverb family. We believe it is one of our best efforts to date! Not only does it sound absolutely sublime, but it is also now one of the most efficient reverbs on the market. It's more than twice as light, twice as pristine, simpler, prettier, and vastly more powerful. It's simply better. Over 800 new presets for Breeze 2.0 are also now available to help you get the most out of it, and we have updated our Perfect Storm Pack to 3.0 to include Breeze 2.0 and the new expansions.

Perfect Storm 3.0 is a bundle of all 2CAudio reverb and spatial-FX plug-ins (Breeze 2, Aether & B2) and associated preset expansions, which all together total approximately 4,000 presets! The change from Perfect Storm 2.5 is the addition of Breeze 2.0 and three new expansion packs.

Yeah, you're spot on. Can't believe we have to pay for it, to be perfectly honest. I had a go a fxpansion for not giving BFD eco free to all BFD2 users. I'll shut up before I say something I regret.

No. It is not. Very soon will be official announcement.

Hope there's some sort of cross-grade offer for existing customers. $99 seems fair but I'm not keen on blowing that amount to a reverb from the same company.

Sounds like a nice choice for those of us who don't have Aether :)
In process of making music that reeks of turd

Weird..is says that it should be lighter then Aether is but it is not at least not in my system. Quite heavy in my honest opinion.

Quad Core here.

Breeze loaded in empty project: 11% CPU
Relab LX480 loaded in empty project: 6% CPU
Lexicon PCM Random Hall loaded in empty project: 5% CPU

That's a bit too much CPU cycles IMHO. Just like TSAR-1. Twice when compared to other similar products. Since it is initial release i guess that we'll see some improvements.

Tweaking Breeze (shape, modulation) i am having noticeable zipper noise.

I like simplicity of GUI :) (ocean night skin is awesome)

Post

Loading both as default; Breeze is 15% CPU, Aether is 16%. A negligable difference to which I'm going to attribute to true stereo. Btw, both 'day' skins say Aether on info page, whereas 'night' versions say Breeze.

Considering Aether 1.5 was a free update, I'm waiting for the "downgrade" pricing. I think it'll solidify my opinion about 2CAudio, which until a few hours ago was entirely positive. I'm sorry I sound negative, but I'm narked. I'm usually very positive. I bought the presets expansions out of appreciation; supporting a new company (I roll my own presets). I'm into the concept of Breeze though, that's a positive karmic boost.

Just as a reference (since kmonkey mentioned it), if you own TSAR-1 you get TSAR-1R (cut down version) inclusive. Whereas from TSAR-1R to the full version you must upgrade. That seems fair to me.

So, is Breeze another reverb?

if so why are they doing this....???

Odd. I am on the mac OSX leopard in Logic 8. It so low on cpu that I can hardly see two points of CPU meter.
That is mean 10% of what Aether use. G5 8 core 2.8Mhz....

Are you on PC?
