Price, and also... when?

Post

when = "within the next ten days" from yesterday :)

Post

"One compressor to rule them all"? I really like the idea of never ever having to buy another compressor again.

BTW, perhaps you should keep the convention established with EQuality and spell it COMPassion. :D

If you didn't already plan for this, it is a very good idea, Dave!

See the sneak preview image, it's already in use.. with two colors anyway.

I hope this plugin is great, can't wait. :hyper:

You're right! Must of picked up on that subconsciously...

Post

Wow, very interesting... I'm really curious to use the Mods.

Any idea on what plugin formats will be available on date of release?

Post

Also very interested to hear about the price. Will it be in the neighborhood of EQuality?

Post

There will likely be an introduction drive (like with EQuality)?

He may also have a "buy both" for an attractive price? ;)
(Maybe a "re"introduction price on EQuality at the same time?)

At release:
- VST/VST3, 32bit/64bit Windows
- VST/VST3/AU, 32bit/64bit, Mac
- RTAS, 32bit, Windows/Mac

I believe that's all of them? ;)

Dave.

You forgot MAS format Dave. A plug is essentially useless without a Mas version. And what about those of us still using super old hosts? What, no VST 1.0 version?

And what about DirectX. All great plug-ins include DX format, no?

Sorry, couldn't resist.

Brent :hihi: :P
My host is better than your host

Hey man, don't forget the SAW native plugin format. ;)

Ahhhh, yes, and it will even sound better in that format!

Do not remind me of my inherent inferiority...

I shed a single tear to mourn the passing of each of DX, MAS, and Windows ME.

VST2 is a direct superset of VST1.0, so it'll work, albeit without some features. ;)

Dave.

NB: Actually, there's a bunch of code in my AU layer to ensure we have good DP performance with their AU wrapper. As for DX... well...
