This is great news! I sure could use a VST3 sidechain with glue and drop.andy-cytomic wrote:VST3 and AAX support are on the way as soon as I've finished The Drop
And BTW: the FM and MIDI buttons are purple for me too... not that it bothers me though, but they always have been. My 2 cents: I also would prefer a lighter color for the filter graph top center...
Oh: and my monitor and I just love the big new sizes!

Purple may not be the best word to use for what I'm seeing. I loaded that image up in Photoshop and did a 3x3 average to get 7a80bb this time, which isn't much different from any of the other colours. But I also compared it with Photoshop's swatches, since my colour words don't tend to get much more detailed than the basic colours. The closest, as far as I can see, is "Pastel Blue Violet".

The other buttons are apparently "Pastel Cyan". So it's not so much that the MIDI button is purple. It's a touch violet and looks more so when compared to the cyan buttons.

the old free version may not work boots successfully on new generations of computers, instruments, and hardware

Thanks! As long as the red component is less than the green, and the blue is biggest that is ok with me. Since this very light blue colour look lilac / violet / indigo to people then I'll remove having the buttons slightly lit, that way they will be gray (and hopefully not look like pink on peoples monitors that show too much red!)pough wrote:Purple may not be the best word to use for what I'm seeing. Nice well this can't be long now, i like the look of the GUI but prefer the more polished metallic looking knobs of previous version. Looking at the GUI i can't quite work out how modulation works but i'm sure it will make sense when i try it.

Struggling not to be pushy, can we move on from the GUI lingerie and get down to the damn right nasty parts...when can we stop window shopping and get our hands on those latest dirty smooth filters It's been a while (8 months) since mama gave some candy

At the pixel level the buttons contain many different shades. Generally closer to #7578b5andy-cytomic wrote:Can people please click on the above links and let me know which one looks most colour of the MIDI FM buttons in this image?

Looks close but I would say the FM/Midi is mauve/blue, tonally darker than the above link.

The buttons are now plain white translucent rubber (like the Push / Maschine buttons), I post a new screenshot once I've done the modulator visualisers.
