It's great that you guys are picking up on it. It's almost comical when I go back to the original, unprocessed mix! You can hear that digital, mid-rangey "fuzz", almost like a bad impulse response being laid over it. The subsequent processing seems to render it more pleasant to the ear, smoother.

Again, might take some time to get a good balance between sweetening and smearing, but it's very encouraging what these next-generation plug-ins like UBK-1 and RC-Tube do for our all-in-the-box mixes.

The UBK-1 is now available in AU & VST (Mac) and RTAS (Mac & Win) formats.
AAX coming soon.

They dropped the vst quote on their webpage so I am confused, or was it never really there. Sure it was

You must be one of the Alpha testers then. I was informed the beta hasn't been released yet.

These guys seem to be pretty on the ball, so I imagine those things will come. Agreed, though, its' frustrating to wait.

Sometimes us PC people have to wait, though, for the Mac crowd to be serviced first...

(But luckily not very often)
