I agree hibidy. I'm tempted by Shred Spread, but I think the mono to stereo thing was cool.
Thing is, I wonder how much better shred spread will be over the stereo widening thing in the new IK CS grande bundle.
I know I'm getting that bundle on my next payday.

after testing, I'm going to skip shredspread and go with the IK CS Grande upgrade instead.

Yeah, this one might be in the bag dudes, instant results. Subtle, but highly useful. Considering the amount of guitars I do this could be a deal. I'm going to look up some reviews and such.

OK - I went for MMultiBandSaturator, you're right lots of control in there. Unfortunately I tried the demo in VST Plugin Analyser so I could understand my 2/3/4/5th harmonics 'overtone' control for tube/tape/transistor types vs saturation harmonics but it wouldn't work in Analyzer. Fortunately it is on sale now for $19 US, as they say - no brainer! It works in Analyzer after authorizing - demo noise problem? Now I get to figure out stuff the manual doesn't cover like usage tips, tutorials, etc. What exactly is soft1 saturation, etc. Come-on Mr. Melda, information please! Nice plug though - I couldn't code it.Gamma-UT wrote:I decided against Twintube in the end. It's the second time I've demoed it but after level matching, I couldn't get it to sway me. I decided I wanted the control in Melda's multiband saturator in the end with Reviver doing the "just add a bit of second and third all over" and Airwindows' Pafnuty for the weirdness option.
Good tip on the MMultiBandSaturator plugin Gamma-UT, still waiting on TwinTube Fix but maybe not in such a hurrry now.
I demo'd WaveArts Tube Saturator and didn't opt to pick it up yet. Here's what I am doing though...drum roll...
I have a Nebula3 in both MSED M/S and L/R using the AlexB sampled preset MTP:

[Hardware=Presonus ADL600]
I picked the Line Input, BRM sample (vs Mic Input) using Brimar 12AU7 tubes (AlexB sampled it using 16 different tube sets from different manufactures)
Anyway - sure sounds sweet on my remaster. I guess it's still only virtual...or is it

I, of course, suggested and predicted this, and should therefore be praised. I guess it helps make up for being wrong on that end of the world thing, sorry about that.antithesist wrote:They should bring all the deals back on the last day, or an additional day.
Is there a list compiled of all the sale items somewhere?

Question about bx_hybrid.
This Plugin appears on the PluginAlliance download page:
http://www.plugin-alliance.com/en/downloads.html
If I filter by brand, I see that this Plugin costs $ 199,00. No discount.
The Installer appears to be 32 bit only on windows.
It has a different install location to all of the other PluginAlliance products.
The Plugin doesn't appear on the door/calender thing.
Anybody know why?
