@Unspoken
Well it is not a native 64 bit plug, and it will be a while before we can do that. However, it seems to run fine with the daws we have tested on. Cubase 6.5 seems to be an issue for some people. If you have time please try it on your 64 bit setup for us.. we'd appreciate that..
Thanks..

Yeah me too. I think hc is really good. It is flexible, sounds good, and, for me, stable. Most of all, its fun to play with...Ken has really created a work of art, hopefully more folks will check it out.

I'm glad there's not any hype. I hate reading a bunch of posts about a product, getting your expectations up, then having them let down becauase the hype was too much. Thats one of the reasons we have been doing beta releases of this all along, so people knew what to expect from it.. Be it bad or good, at least they know what it is and is not..

IK and NI routinely give very deep discounts, to insure their
products are on every hard-disk. Then the battle for pick time
begins. For a new product, regardless of quality, there is a
familiar product already in place, that must be edged out, by
being clearly superior, or filling a niche that has not been
targeted. By filling the niche (gaping crevasse? :hihi: ) of
amp design and implementation, and providing the great sound engine
in a studio/fx gui scenario, a great opportunity exists for HeadCase
musicians, audio enthusiasts, students of hardware and dsp design,
and graphic artists, to break new ground, and have great fun doing it.
Team up, if you are stronger in one field than another, the community
and developers are friendly, and there is even a user asylum,
if things should get out of hand

All they have to do is release a little freeware.. which IK already has and its been well received, and rightly so. They did a fantastic job in releasing AT Free, so hats off to them for that. I for one applaud it. I don't know if NI has released anything yet, hopefully they too follow suit and give a lil something back in terms of freeware..hint hint...

The discounts... just my 2 cents..
Set the damn price right in the beginning and leave it the hell alone. Nothing pisses off customers worse than paying $200.00 dollars for something then reading 6 months later its $17.99, or even worse, packaged with another product for $60.00. Further than that, your customers are now motivated to wait until your price drops, because they know it will. So the few loyals who can't wait to get your product get hosed by paying full price, but they'll only do that once, twice if they are stupid.

So, just a thought, would it not be better instead of setting the price at $200.00, set it at $80.00 and it NEVER drops? Head Case pricing will never change, just like iFace has not. iFace is selling today as it was the day we released it over a year ago. People are still buying it, and everyone paid the same price, so no one should feel like they got hosed...

Just my 2 cents, but, wtf do I know? I studied business at the University of Sim City. Thats where if you lower and raise your taxes all the time, people move out and you get no taxes. The similarities are quite striking.. :hihi:
haha

There is a free GR5, with some nice fx, and most of their demos run
unrestricted in 30 minute sessions, so people can know if a product
is good for them. Or just happily use them.

Nothin wrong with University of Sim,
Britain got 13.4 billion pounds from the top tax rate before they
jacked it up, and the victims left, leaving only 6.5 billion for the
tax vampires to suck. Even the wine and truffles of France can't keep
Gerard DePardieu from escaping an intestine twisting 75% tax rate.
It's hard to act with your hands strapped to your ankles. :hihi:
