Don't get me wrong Quinto. You are on my list of the very best plugins around, and the list is not that long. 100000 bad plugins, 1 good!!!
A faithful emulation of the Roland SBF-325 Flanger would be very nice.
By the way: When will the Q796 be updated, like you say here at KVR one year ago?

Pcsrks, Thank you for the info
I didn't know the MusicRow and Dontcrack ones.
Still, two from the list are tied to some hardware (uad) or some software (Reaktor).
Quinto, one thing i love a lot about the Dim D are the buttons (white/grey and orange/red). I wish your version had it

Not getting wrong, I agree somehow!
Just describing how it happened
This one is special because not a chorus, but a widener/thickener, and this is what we were looking for.
More chorus/flanger will follow, I'm sure

Cool, I'm watching this for news. I haven't got into other 5 for variety of reasons, but this one might have me slipped off the fence.

Hard to see why a 6th attempt at this particular stomp would be needed.

Good on you Quinto. I've wanted to try a dimension D for a long time, and compared to UAD etc, I'm sure you'll do a good job of it, given your track record.

To be honest I never used any emulation... of anything... believe or notelectro wrote:I was asking if you feel the other emulations fall short of the hardware.quintosardo wrote:?
How would you model it otherwise???
(Ok, some IK beautiful guitar amps. And impulse responses from reverbs, that's all).

The ERS plugin got additional controls for e.g. Frequency, depth and mix.
BTW a Dimsension D mode is also included in Xils Lsb ChorX:
http://www.xils-lab.com/pages/ChorX.html
I got both both but for the Dimension D i prefer the ERS one.
What i like about the Dimension D Chorus is the beautiful Stereo widening effect and that it is a bit more "subtle" so it does usually not "destroy" the original sound.
An interesting free Chorus is TAL Cchorus-LX which is based on the Juno 60 chorus in TAl U-NO-LX:

Yes, absolutely! It's prettier sounding than the CE-1 but not as lush, which gives it its unique place.bduffy wrote:You know, someone in my town is selling the CE-300 on Craigslist, and I recall that being a pretty hot unit from the 80's. You think it's worth $100?

Here is some sound, an acoustic guitar.
The effect starts bypassed, then comes in, out again, etc...

interested, i know uad and ERS and now this, but the other 4?PCSRKS wrote:Once again a Roland Dimension D emulation. The sixth one I think.
There are other legendary chorus devices, even better than the Dimension D!!!
What about a faithful emulation of the t.c. Electronic TC 1210 !?
What about a faithful emulation of the Dyno-My-Piano Tri-Stereo-Chorus !?
