The whole album has a clear, crisp sound, and a new sheen of consummate professionalism that really gives the songs a big boost. He's been compared to Elvis Costello, but I think Huey has a far more bitter, cynical sense of humor. In '87, Huey released this, Fore, their most accomplished album. I think their undisputed masterpiece is 'Hip To Be Square', a song so catchy most people probably don't listen to the lyrics - but they should! Because it's not just about the pleasures of conformity, and the importance of trends, it's also a personal statement about the band itself!

And gave PT10 forty whacks
When he saw what he had done
He gave PT11 forty one.

Cool. What about the Windows VST beta of the new VVV algos---is that not happening until the AAX version is done?valhallasound wrote:My wife got onto the Valhalla DSP website last night, and created a page where I can post the status of the AAX updates. Set yer browsers to

Correct. The AAX ports required me to refactor my entire plugin code base, and the new VintageVerb algorithms are part of this new code base. I need to work out the framework bugs before I port to Windows.A.M. Gold wrote:Cool. Just bought ValhallaVintageVerb. I have never been able to get a good reverb sound, mostly due to me sucking at it. Downloaded the demo yesterday and tried it out. Instantly got sweet sounding reverb on everything I tried it on.
Highly recommended if you are looking for an easy to use, very affordable and great sounding reverb.
Happy customer here.

i know i sold valhalla room 3 times sean but unless i switch back to reason which i have zero plans to, as ive invested too much in daws and just bought ableton live, valhalla vintage is something that i will be keeping for a long time. its an incredible accomplishment and the price is a slap in the face to other reverb developers. i actually tried your verb vs 2cs imo your reverb is smoother. i don't regret buying vintage verb whatsoever. gonna load up the beta now. btw, is it stable enough to use for actual work? man 6 new reverb modes wow! you have been busy

The Windows beta has only been tested by a few folks. My guess is that it is as stable as the release version, if not more so.AstralExistence wrote: btw, is it stable enough to use for actual work?
The new reverb modes were all in place at the end of 2013. The work since then has been in porting everything to AAX. Which has taken a LONG time.man 6 new reverb modes wow! you have been busy
