I believe "release notes" i.e "what's new", is the common "features-in-this-version/update" modality.

New features are subject to change and often bring new bugs as well. The manual gives a comprehensive overview of the majority of features. The beta thread gives a comprehensive overview of new features and fixes, which keeps people notified on what to test if they choose to help on that front!
In any case if the biggest gripe with Cthulhu is that I don't update the manual with beta versions, I'll take it!
