Probably someone earlier on mentioned DSK vst's already.
You could try DSK Musics Vst collection.
http://www.dskmusic.com/
They are really cool!
I use them with LMMS 0.4.13 on WIn 7 64 bit!
PS: Check out my
BrandyStarbrites List of DSK VST's that work well in LMMS 0.4.13 64bit in the Generals Section of the LMMS forum. For more info.
It'll save you alot of hassle and headaches.
Trust me! I know what I'm telling you. Lol!
Oh crap!
I think I'll have to update my List.

I appreciate your enthusiasm, but effects here, not samplers/ romplers or synths, just effects.

A bit irritated here: the website has a free version, for which it says "Settings(Presets) Reset to default on session load". If I understand that correctly, plugin settings doesn't get saved in the project? This would usually be considered a demo, not a free version.cocell wrote:Modeled Classic Compressor plugin. VST/AU

The "full package" requires (!) a donation. I don't remember donations being mandatory by definition. In my understanding, if a payment is required, it is a commercial product.
But maybe I am getting this all wrong, can anyone shed some light here?

Which version of the 4(!) should I DL re. Freeverb 3.1.1? I have a fairly fast W764 machine, but I'm just not sure exactly what they all mean and/or how they are used.

I don't think that it was mentioned here that ReValver 4 is basicly free. You can unlock more modules on it if you want, but the basic version is free. Here's what you get by just installing and licensing:
ReValver 4 Modules included for Free
"ValveKing and Custom Lite Amp Modules
RIR 2 Lite Cabinet Modeling Module (3 x cabs, 3 x mics, multiple mic positions)
Lite Green and Tremolo Stomp Boxes
C-verb Lite Effects Module
Audio Stream splitter
ACT Content (1 x Acoustic Bundle, 2 x Electric Pickup Bundles, 4 x Output presets)
Access to the Amp Store for an ever growing selection of new modules, cabinets and ACT Content"
