it definitely has value as a reference. would be great if people kept notes on their reasoning behind certain decisions with regard to the mix workflow, and plugins used

Eq the free Liftikus lol its just works on everything very surprised, Comp the SSL X Valve ,Reverb Relab LX just very high end sounding to me :)

For the cheap section, from a Mac perspective:
Comp: Klanghelm DC8C2!!
EQ: SlickEQ
Reverb: Valhalla VintageVerb

Mid Section would be: just get T-Racks.

And expensive would be:
Comp: elysia Alpha Comp
EQ: MAAG EQ4
Reverb: Overloud Breverb / Lexicon
