Hi guys

I need a (preferably free) powerful MIDI LFO that can generate probability-based random signal (complex waveforms). Something like this old Modismaster plugin from NUSofting http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=1932079

Anything else, with more advanced features for controlling the randomization, and with normal waveforms as well (sine, triangle, etc)?

Cheers

You could try Insert Piz Here's midiSimpleLFO plugin routed through his midiProbability plugin; both of which are bundled in his Piz MIDI plugin collection found here:

Thanks for the suggestion, dformd
I used this method in the past, but I would like a self-contained plugin with a better interface.

From the developer challenge 2009, there is the "dimensional vector spider". Worth a try.
You can't always get what you waaaant...

Not really an LFO but it's free and does randomization:

Thanks guys!
Both of those plugins look interesting. I'm gonna check them asap.

I know those two plugins but I didn't try them yet because from what I know they don't do probability-based randomization. They just have some kind of simple noise-shaped LFO.
