the best deal of black friday last year was the SoundToys bundle (with the free V5 upgrade)... Waves had great deal on black friday , but it was 2 year ago.
Element and Codex are pretty good for the price they're asking ATM

I'll answer my own question.. I did a search and discovered the free plugin was given away on Black Friday (Day after American Thanksgiving in late November).VitaminD wrote:hmm... no freebie plugin. My memory fails me.. was that on 'plugin day' last year or something closer to Christmas?
This appears to be a pre black Friday on Thursday.. without the freebie or the really low prices. otherwise just like it!

I won 300 new presets after having answered all the questions correctly! I guess I'm pretty smart.

I have Element, got it at intro at a very nice price.
Now at $79 I would rather spend my money on Steinberg Retrologue ($50).

Element is a 2xOSC VA synth and Retrologue is a 2xOSC VA synth, so I think it is OK to compare them.
