Cool, thanks Dimi. :tu:

Btw, any clues as to what gear the various modes are based on? I can guess a few, but I'm just curious. :ud:

I tried 'em out, they sound good to these ears. Although I'm not a guitar player and would mostly be using them on synths.
A well-behaved signature.

Most of the pedals are modeled after the MXR, Boss, and Electro-Harmonix pedals. I can’t give specific clues on models though because each of the modeled pedals series have many changes on modeled components and unification in parameters. So as we always did, they’re more likely “inspired” by some modulation pedals aforementioned, instead of 1:1 modeling.

As for the sounds, we tried to cover all the tonalities as possible from all the modeled pedals, as we said, it’s initially from 20+ pedals: DOD, Ibanez, Vox, Korg, Danelectro, and many more. The decision to narrow them to three types on each Efektors, because when we did the DSP modelling, many of them can be represented by small numbers of the types of modulation we released inside the Efektors.

We picked the ones which can represent many, and sounded significantly different between each types, whether the stages, delay-lines, sweeps, etc (I won’t go too much into much technicalities). For example for the Chorus, we picked the ones which can represent them in regards of how many delay lines or how much degrees differences on phase each type has.

nice plugins low cpu consumption. may i ask why the *.dll are so big? are you plugins IR based?

Thanks

Distortions and modulations pedals are not IR based.

We use some kind of precalculated look up tables for any calculation that aren't possible to run in real time. Also the GUI resource is quite big too.

Hi guys, after the great success of Kuassa’s Classic Tones Refill made for Reason using Reason’s rack extensions,
I’m about to finish – convert the tones for Reaper DAW, as a track presets – chains.

Using Reaper’s stock delay and reverb and Kuassa’s New Efektors and Amp Simulators.
