Oh good to know. Seems a little backwards though, if you ask me. I might be a bit biased, but I like mys suggestion better.DarkStar wrote:Select the module in the chain, Alt_click the module in the Browser. There are many occasions it can be more desirable to replace a module already in the chain, rather than add a new one.
Perhaps, offering the ability to Cmd/Ctrl Drag and Drop a module to replace another would also help sweeten the workflow for users.

Hmmm... Zod, I like that. I think that might stick. Almost worth hacking the Info panel and inserting a meme there!!Peter - IK Multimedia wrote:Not answering in order, but first I'll thank you for the comments - yes it is good to post comments/suggestions and I will also relay them to the team for consideration.simon.a.billington wrote:I noticed the dinosaur has broken loose to release untold terror on the town. So, anyway, I’ve finally had time to install it, get it registered and have quick look at it. Is it okay if I offer a tiny bit of user-friendly feedback for your next update??
Rhetorical question, I’m going to suggest it anyway. :p
With the module filter on the right of the UI, it would be a nice workflow option to allow the user to optionally Cmd/Ctrl Click on any of the buttons, to immediately select that category only as opposed to “adding” that catagory to the current selection.
Currently, the only option to view a category one at a time at is to manually deselect each filter.
Similarly, dragging and dropping will always add a new module to the chain. That makes sense for the most part, but what if the user were auditioning the processors?? There are many occasions it can be more desirable to replace a module already in the chain, rather than add a new one.

These aren’t huge time killers, but efficiency tweaks are always a helpful thing.
About the dino, I don't think he (she? Sadly, we've never met face to face so I don't know) is locked in the info window (perhaps we should name the dino Zod?) and can't wreak much havoc from there. If there is a Jurassic Park-esque or Superman II-like escape I will alert people here first, no need for a support ticket.

Master Match is its own module that does all it needs on its own and doesn't need to use other modules to achieve its results, but if you'd like to use more "character" type of EQs, etc, and tweak with more control you can take the more hands-on approach which would require some manual tweaking and would be for those more advanced applications and users who choose to do so.
The in-depth video posted above gives more information about the module for those interested, but of course there's also the demo which you can try and would give a more hands-on experience in really seeing how it and other modules work.

Tom Lord-Alge did another video, this time about vocal mixing. Also, there are custom presets from Tom available in your IK User Area.

I just wanted to say thanks for making my v4 Deluxe era presets available in CS, I don't lave a list of presets for stuff I don't own cluttering up everything, that is very much appreciated. I hope you guys have an attractive upgrade offer for v5 Standard for Black Friday. Or maybe for gear credits. Anyway, I'm quickly becoming a grumpy old man that remembers when you could buy stuff for a shiny nickel, and so I was throughly prepared to be disappointed with v5 CS, and so far I'm not. I still think everything should cost a nickel though but I know you all gotta eat.

Is it me or is the plugin versions not re-sizable? Using Reaper.

OK, so I have TR5 versions of all my old plugins, they have new GUIs for V5. I own T-Racks Deluxe 4. So, are you saying the new GUIs are not resizable? That seems to be the case, but that seems silly, if they redid all the GUIs. Plus these 'old' effects are part of T-Racks 5 suites, right? Or are only the new modules resizable? I'm confused.jinotsuh wrote:It's you . If you use the TR5 versions, they are resizable, if you use the TR4 versions they are just like they were before.

TR5 Equal, which I'm trying, doesn't appear to be re-sizable. At least not in TR5 Suite or as a stand alone in Reaper.

OK, I tried in Live as well. So now I am assuming resizing is a paid feature not available to CS users, is that correct? So even though my plugins are updated, the resizing feature is not available? Alright then, I'm going with that apparent fact. Kinda weird, but ok.
Kinda sucks that metering isn't included, at least in parity to what I owned with T-racks 4 Deluxe. A step forward, a step back
Oh, I actually own Grand 4. So this isn't so grand anymore. EDIT: I went looking on my User Area and I guess I own Standard, but I can remember buying Grand in a group buy. Maybe I was given the wrong product?? I have no idea.

IIRC they´ve removed that feature from the free TR5 in order to get more people to buy the upgrade.

They totally defeat the purpose of a CS version with these limitations and the high prices on individual models. Why even have a CUstom Shop if you can't get a decent deal with it? And you have to buy credits in increments of $25, meaning you are always stuck with a few credits you can't spend, and have to spend $25 to get those 10 more you need. It is absurd.soulone82 wrote:Same here.braj wrote:Is it me or is the plugin versions not re-sizable? Using Reaper.

IK always has a way of pissing me off, it seems, I WANT to love them, but damn it, this is just not cool.
