What can I do to give vox a little boost? What's the "industry standard" for rap/hiphop? These sound a little flat.

You should duplicate them.
Send them to separate mixer channels.
One version of the vocals in mono and one version in stereo, this increases the stereo width of the vocal but they are still central to the in the mix.thus they become more of the focal point of the song.
Send them both to the same buss and add some reverb and eq out lower frequencies as well as some compression.
You could also add some delay to fill gaps in the vocals, but lower the volume of the delay.
Eq before compression.
