Some 70's and 80's fusion and jazz stuff, e.g. Maputo by Bob James and David Sanborn, or Nautilus by Bob James.
But also R&B stuff like Babies by Ashford & Simpson or a lot of Loose Ends and SOS Band songs.

Still works wonders as when I was a teen. Thrilling percussions and electronic orchestra.

Good choice. I have not heard it in a long time, but now that I do, I remember that I always liked the way it sounded.Lotuzia wrote:Miss Grace Jones : Slave to the rythm

It was such a great time in musical terms, the Art of Noise' Moments in Love etc.

Sade's Solider of Love album was also produced very well. Especially on the headphones it sounds amazing.
I get the impression that the use of reverb and space is one of the secrets to great sounding songs, Trevor Horn also knows how to do that.

The Propaganda stuff also sounded quite good, also produced by TH.
But there are also more isolated jewels by bands who not always sounded that good. Heartbeat City by The Cars, Broken Wings by Mister Mister, Devil's Ball by Double, Mama by Genesis, Life's what you make it by Talk Talk, Voices by Russ Ballard, I'm not in love by 10cc, etc.
