im using the Tracks shell atm and checking about the RMS etc. it seems my mix/mastering settings are a bit too heavy. what do you do to dial it a bit lower?
my limiter is fully ok, it doesnt spike, i always raise the output until the limiter reaches about -0.5 dB. but the RMS is sadly overpeaked :/

It's completely project and artist and album and track and target audience specific, and besides, RMS is a ridiculously poor measure of perceived loudness (BS1770 Integrated is far better for that). Don't follow the numbers, follow your ears.
