I would love to see more 60's psychedelic, folk, and Beatlesque instruments in .sf2 - especially the backward instruments, electric sitars and electric 12 strings, "Satisfaction/Think For Yourself" fuzz guitar/bass, etc...
I purchased the Phillcordia GM751 .sf2 yesterday and I love it. I'm impressed with the Harmonium and Cembalo samples too, and I hope to be able to purchase those in the near future.

I bet you will be really happy with our Indian Harmonium for the typical Beatles sounds on their Revolver and Sgt. Peppers albums.

Our Summersale ends really soon so this is the time to grab the libraries you want and get 30% discount!
Best regards,
Lars
PS!
Your wish list is added on our "to do" and "to think about" lists...
I like to know what sampler you use, please let me know (you want the Sf2 files so it's a lot of samplers out there that handles them, more or less...

I did end up purchasing the Harmonium moments ago, which ended up being $27.30 USD after the discount. My shrunken wallet chose this one over the Blanchet Cembalo, but I don't feel like I "settled" since the Harmonium has 7 different .sf2 files for different articulations/effects.
By the way, I should add that Lars was helpful yesterday when I was having difficulty downloading & retrieving soundfonts (due to my intermittent Internet connection and my operator malfunctions). His customer service and patience is perhaps exceeded only by the quality of his samples. I cannot thank you enough, Lars.
While I have Logic Express 7, I mostly use GarageBand '08 on a PowerBook G4 (Power PC). The .sf2 files are selected from the DLSMusicDevice.precisionsound wrote:PS!

Given that Broomstick Bass is defunct, will the samples ever be available separately?kagamul wrote:Thanks - have to check it out!precisionsound wrote: Ok, i have the perfect product for you: Broomstickbass!

Do I have access to the samples or can I only use them with the plugin - I'd like to be able to load them into a Fantom XR

Best,

I'd personally love to have male "choir-ish" samples with which I could play this (It's the main title to the movie Ronja Rövardotter):

I love that full-bellied scandinavian viking-like singing!
Other than that, I love all that is dark, folky, wintery. That might not be of much help, but I hope you know what I mean.

Portatif!

PMI's Positive comes close on some patches, but not quite there.
For listening examples, try the Jethro Tull album "Songs from the Woods", or the track "Way of Life" from Gentle Giant's "In a glass house".

Are there any specific categories you are asking for? Like, are we just talking unique instruments like what you usually do? Or any kind of instrument?

Ditto on the charango--as well as perhaps a guitarrón (and other Latin American traditional folk instruments).paveloso wrote:I would love to see a Charango (small Peruvian guitar). I am guessing it would fit perfectly with your Bolivian panflute for some really authentic Andean music:
A Cuban Tres would also be really great! It is an integral part of the popular bolero and other Cuban styles. I'm sure it would give an awesome traditional sound to any production:
Mariachi and English marching band (a la Sgt Pepper) instruments also would be great additions to your library.
