Once again, a useful discussion has gone off-topic.
Why is it that Reaper always has to be bashed? It's a fine piece of software.
Not for everyone, not really ready to use out of the "box" but great nonetheless.

Good question. Reaper threads here almost always involve drama.

It actually is (as you say) a fine piece of software. A minor miracle actually considering what it costs. If someone told me in 2003 that one day you'd be able to buy a professional level daw with all of that power for $60, and not even really have to pay the $60 for 3-4 years if you didn't want to, that it still works anyway, I would have had them committed to the nearest insane asylum or searched their clothing for crack rocks.
