The new version of ocenaudio (beta26) is now available, now also in German (thanks Steffen Müller).

New features include:
* Play and select
* Stop and set cursor
* Recording Level Meter
* Bugfixes on UTF-16 metadata

From all the freeware editors, this one suits my needs best in terms of GUI, workflow and possibilities.

thanks! just heard about this and it looks really cool.
but could it be that there are some problems with vst-plugins (mac os 10.7.5.)?
i chose the vst-plugins-folder restarted and then it seemed to scan the plugins (in the menue more and more plugin/developers where listed) and before finishing it crashed.
opened again and the same...
the crash-report seem to have reaktor 5 listed in many threads.

edit: tried to deactivate vst and it crashed at restart (seem related to amplitude 3).

A new version of ocenaudio (beta31) is available for download. Many improvements have been made in the VST plugins. Ocenaudio now is available also in bulgarian (thanks Svetlin Staikov).

Thanks for the update. I had the same problem as the previous poster with the vst plugin scan, but the new version now works seamlessly

I've been following Ocenaudio since first release. I like it and use it occasionally. Is it possible to sort VSTs by name? And what about a change log for each version?
Keep up the good work. It's really getting better and better.

I can't recall VST plugins working before, but it does work now ... good job!

I get this error when I try to update in 10.7.5 :

"The operation can't be completed because the item "Info.plist" is in use."

Try removing the old version from your Applications folder before dragging the new release.
