So some mate of me recommends Ableton and says it is much better than FL Studio. I am using old FL Studio to produce my tracks since I am used to it and it is easy to sue. What changes do I have to expect when changing to Ableton, is it harder to work with it, is it easier? What differencies? I have the impression that FL Studio is a hsot that does not offer best soundquality, no matter what effects you use. I have the impression that FL Studio does not redner the sound tight enough, but it could be me only. As if there is some very low level noise in FL Studio that would make things like a piano for example sound a bit faded. But it could be only me that I have the imrpession.
So is Ableton better? Easier to work?. i woudl ike to hear your opinions aobut it and I hope I expressed myself well based on the language used on this forum.

Best thing to do is install the 30-day free trial version of Live from their site here:

When you first open it you will see that the right hand side of the screen is given over to beginner tutorials, which are really easy to follow and will give you a fine overview of what the product does and how it basically works.

Better is relative.
If you use a lot of samples you'll like live's automatic match to tempo when adding samples.
If you edit lots of miditracks you'll miss the ease of fls piano roll.
Soundwise neither is better or worse.
I use both for specific tasks. FLS for sketching tracks and ideas and live for stepsequencing tasks with a launchpad. Each program has its strengths and weaknesses. Just work long enough with a DAW to hit its limits.

So it is mroe difficult to enter notes in Ableton than in FL Studio? I would have liked to sue it since I think it has better sound output quality than FL Studio.

For composing? I personally prefer FL to Live. FL excels in writing notes, internal linking/modulation, multicore efficiency, automation shaping, spectral audio editing/sampling, chopping/slicing samples visually. Live excels in adjusting unstable rhythm sample, launching audio clip seamlessly and record clips into cells instantly. I can now have each benefit by using both of them.
