Is the groove quanitize similar to Ableton where user can extract grooves from audio files and apply it to MIDI clips? Here is FL Studio's strum and chopper tool in action.kennyda wrote: Yes there is groove quantize. What is a chopper in a MIDI editor? No idea what a strum tool is.

Perhaps you, in the know, could make this a feature request. It is very important, imho too.pdxindy wrote:The Bitwig external devices seem to be missing this...spinlud wrote:Does external instrument have the latency offset like in ableton? pretty important, in my experience, to record external hardware in sync

I'd like to find this feature too, it's really comfortable, but we lived without in Ableton for a long time.

Nope, you should always hit the ground with your legs together and you knees bent anyway.bizcaus wrote:Has Bitwig's user manual been posted anywhere? I'd really like to be able to give the entire manual a read before the actual thing comes out so I can hit the ground running.

Anybody tried this on a windows 8.1 touch screen device? If it's CPU light enough then Bitwig studio could be awesome on these windows touch screen tablet things that are popping up everywhere.
Cheers!
