there's a section on push in the live9 pdf.
skimmed it last night but I was too knackered to concentrate.
I'm tired of being insane. I'm going outsane for some fresh air.

Push in PXT-Live mode can activate ClphX actions with button presses. ClphX allows the chosen scale to be set and recalled on subsequent project loads.

I'm using a Launchpad with the Launchpad95 script. It good, don't get me wrong, but lacks so much compared to Push.

I tried to do the same in launchpad but the lack of velocity severely damages its possibilities, would be very interesting to know what you guys think of it as a melodic/harmonic instrument. Personally the easier remembering of chord/scale positions alone make it very, very interesting.

Today I managed to get Push working in Cubase 7.5 using nativeKONTROL PXT-General. Pretty cool. Exactly the setup I was looking for. Thanks to whoever mentioned nativeKONTROL.

I primarily use Push for playing melodies/harmonies. Scale mode ftw, I'm a terrible keys player and have no interest in learning

Pretty much what I bought it for in the first place.
Meh.

It's been fun. The only thing about that is that it doesn't remember the last mode used :?

There is some kinda clyphx thing that people can use for that, but I have to admit I haven't got my head around it yet.

It's easier to write it on a clip, even more usefull if you have multiple keys in a single project.

Yeah, Ableton really needs to update it to remember the last Scale used when you power it back on at least

and when you load a Set at best.
Meh.

I don't think I understand this.

I think he's saying to rename the clip to include the scale used. It indeed makes perfects sense for when using multiple key changes and a great way to stay organized. :)

I'm really enjoying using BreakTweaker and Push
