Just go back to living in a world where music press is all guess work and crystal balls and i suspect you will be happier ;)
You don't seem to like them whatever they do. I hope you're happier soon.
[W10-64, T5/6/7/W8/9/10/11/12/13, 32(to W8)&64 all, Spike],[W7-32, T5/6/7/W8, Gina16] everything underused.

I suppose another possible explanation is someone at TSC spoke to someone at Music Radar about T5, for whatever reason, and got asked when it's coming, and maybe said something like "we're aiming for NAMM", like every music gear manufacturer does, aims to announce new stuff at NAMM. And music radar wrote up a pencilled in, aimed for, internal release date like it was a public announcement.

Guess the only way we'll know is to check that press release... What was the link to that again?

(sigh)
"my gosh it's a friggin hardware"

I tend to take a more logical view... that they planned to release info to coincide with NAMM (I mean, assuming they are actually there, if they are, why else would they be there)... and ... s__t happens. :)

As to press releases, I have no clue how all that works (where's Brent when you need him :)), but historically speaking, that's the first place I go for early NAMM news or leaks, Music Radar, so perhaps they thought if they were going to give a marketing blurb to anyone, that would be the place to do it, since it would spread all over the net from there anyway.

Anyway, nobody is going to keel over and die (I hope) if they have to wait a few days to buy Tracktion 5. :hihi:

Not too worried about waiting a little while until it's released but I would really really like to see some more details on what to expect from it!

Maybe they're fine-tuning the Coriolis code for the phase inverter. ;)

Actually, if you Google for "Tracktion NAMM 2014" there's a German site that seems to have more info (if you can read German or are willing to interpret the Google-translate results).

Maybe there was a mole among the groundhogs ....

If this article is correct, we're looking at:
- dynamic freeze (maybe intelligently predicting what to freeze?)
- Folder concept
- ARA integration for Melodyne
- Step Sequencer Clips in Arranger

Oh and per-note automation. Would that be what Cubase is doing? So does Tracktion host vst3?
