Claes is showing many ways to to affect an audio clip in the above video. Does this work in like or same manner for midi clips? That is, for example, can one change pan for a single midi note like he did for a beat in the audio?

Thanks for any input!

I think so (not a beta tester though). In the video he talked about the modulation system that should work the same way in all parts of BWS.

So this is Claes from Vember Audio, eh? I wasn't aware of his involvement in Bitwig until now. The name rang a bell when seeing it in the video. This FAQ at Vember confirms it. http://vemberaudio.se/faq.php

Hmmmmmm. That's really neat. Seems almost like it would be better suited to a cinematic score (I know bitwig isn't surround) or something along those lines.

This is off topic but does anyone know how to do that thing at :12 where he shows the open application icons? I've never known. Thanks.

It's called Launchpad (Mac X program).

Here is Apple's instructions:

And Wikipedia's info:

Wait isn't that just the mac version of alt+tab shown at :12? I think maybe it's cmd+tab.

Post

It isn't Launchpad; it's the built-in task switcher, called up via CMD+tab.

the modulation system the way you can drag and drop between everything and everything else is pretty smooth/smart and seems well done. this is very appealing to me
