I have T5 and it is much improved, but I would not give up on Cubase because of some window quirks. Cubase has midi functionality far beyond all other DAWS with the exception possibly of Logic. I'm back to reaper.
I don't see why people say reaper is subpar for midi. The piano roll is quite decent. The rest (snapshots, workspaces, shortcuts, stability) is top notch. Now if only I could get bidirectional connection with my BCR2000...
