Can't seem to find this after some Googling but I can't imagine it's not built in, but is there a way to toggle the solo or mute states for multiple channels with a single key or mouse gesture? Basically, if Channel 1 is currently on and Channel 2 is off I'd like a way to instantly make 1 off and 2 on.
I was hoping I could just highlight multiple tracks and hit M but that just mutes the last-selected track and doesn't change the state of the other tracks. This would be useful for, say, doing an A/B of different compressor plugins by cloning a track and normalizing the gain for each so you aren't fooled into the ol' "Louder=Better" deal.

Alt-click the channel Solo button to make a channel exclusively solo.
All soloed channels except those that are safe-soloed (I think that's the right term) will have solo disabled.
To enable safe solo:
Ctrl-click a solo button. A red slash will be displayed and the channel will be included any time other channels are soloed.
Useful to listening to the drum bus while flipping between 2 different bass channels, for example.
