FL Studio Performance Mode

Well decided to sit down and mess around with Performance Mode and to be honest i just dont get it..I can use Abletons Session View very well but this is another story.. Anyone here good with this?

I don't have Ableton. When my budget lets it happen I will purchase the basic edition of FL Studio. I can use it as a VST.

For the moment being I am busy with making a schedule regarded to audio production. Which asks all the discipline from me that I am capable of atm (don't try this at home).

Makes me sleep for 4/5 hours only for a while

Basically I am still busy with transporting Magix Music Maker's Soundpool workflow palette to my actual DAW. In my own way that is.

So i have to make a Project in the Playlist first? Is there a way to record straight into the Performance Panel and go from there?
