wow logic plugins look so bad on retina! - oh and some performance tests

an apple program and they can't update the gui's of the classic plugins? I find EXS24 labels practically unreadable unless i squint real close, for example.
Anyone else finding the same thing with a retina macbook?
On the good side, the performance difference is ridiculous. I am actually surprised how much.
I did a more scientific test than using logic meter.. i opened activity monitor and monitored cpu.
my 2.2ghz sandy bridge i7 quad, 2011 macbook at 128 samples, is using 65 percent, playing multiple polyphonic notes on the default sculpture patch.
The 2.8ghz haswell i7 quad macbook, uses 25-28. WTF? That's less than half. I saw similar increased in reason when i tested my sisters macbook 2.5ghz retina haswell. (don't have reason installed on this one).
The other kicker is, set logic to 32 sample buffer (using in built output with iloud, shows ~3 ms output, vs 128 samples (5.3ms output) on the 2011 model. But even at 128 samples it still stayed at 25%. So 32 samples which is ultra responsive to play Vi's live, is performing with grace on the retina. the other can do it to but starts crackling when logic's meter shows about 75%, whereas this doesn't, although granted i didn't get the meter that high yet.
I really thought haswell was only a 10% change clock for clock, so even factoring the 2.8ghg vs 2.2 it is still performing way better than i expected.. and let's face it, it's not like the cpu is going to be cranked up to high mhz when under such low load anyway..
BUT APPLE, PLEASE fix the old plugins, as i rely on, well almost ALL of them, and i know MANY logic users who do!
For anyone that's interested, there is a reason benchmark test for reason 8, my 2011 got 12 seconds, my sisters retina 2.5ghz got 40 seconds (!!!), so i presume mine would be a tad better again.
So basically, i can thoroughly recommend the retina macs for audio work, they are very powerful. They also seem to take a hell of a beating before the fans ramp up at all also.

It's weird, for such an image/design conscious company as Apple...they don't seem to pay much attention to how things look on-screen. The fact that there's no system-wide font re-sizing like on Windows means I have to monkey with screen resolution when fonts are too small...WTF? Move to flat visual style doesn't help...
