cheers
I can confirm version 2016 (3) works on 10.8.5
no crashes yet
:P
cheers and thank you!

BTW, what is the latest version?
I'll test the 10.10 version and see if it works on 10.8.5

Post

Very nice!

Any chance you could throw the source up in github?

Post

@Naenyn ok maybe i will put it on github. But still working on some things so it will be at a later point ok ?

Here is a newer version with TagLib upgraded to latest v1.10 so now .WAV artwork works and it fixed a bug in Apple Lossless info

@sqigls: this is the latest Version 2016(11)

Post

cheers, the album art doesn't show (on any version), also the semi transparent GUI doesn't look as good as the solid older version in my opinion. It has a lot of potential i think, i like the simplicity, and the apparent stability ;)
Thanks again!

Hi here is another update if you don't mind.

http://www23.zippyshare.com/v/iRBfhSAk/file.html

- lowered cpu usage
- fixed artwork
- 10.6-10.11 compatible (hope it works on 10.6 can anyone confirm?)

Post

Thanks for all the updates - album art still seems a bit hit and miss with Flac files - some it works with, others it doesn't. I think it comes down to the way they are encoded into the file - I'm finding that artwork added by Phile Audio from ripped CD's shows, but if I use Kid3 to add artwork it often doesn't show.

Hello

Here is my newest version i think it's my best version up till now

EDIT: http://www115.zippyshare.com/v/qGkkGr3v/file.html (redownload if you had previous on this post, it had a position slider bug...fixed now)

- lowered cpu usage even more due to levelMeter on it's own window instead of mainWindow that causes more cpu.
- made levelMeter dock to statusbar
- store and restore levelMeter position in .plist
- icon to set levelMeter to default statusbar position.

Post

ok sorry for all the updates but I found something that lowered the cpu with even 2% more so now 6% with meter on instead of 8%

I'm not seeing play time showing anymore with this version

Post

Is that on 10.10.5?

Can you delete /users/you/library/preferences/org.cogx.cog.plist when Cog is NOT open?.

Also you might try this one where I fixed a levelMeter positioning bug:

Post

Yes, tried deleting the plist and the new build - current time still not showing (just an empty strip)

I fixed some clipping window content: http://www108.zippyshare.com/v/JxCdtJoT/file.html

Upgraded to el Capitan, This no longer works haha, probably me i guess, but no longer works anyway.
EDIT* Nevermind, test download reset its output to nothing in prefs

I'm wondering if the current time text isn't showing because I am on OS-X dark mode?
