Hi,

Just wondering if Studio one or any other can do this....

Track 1 - synth A (Pad sound)
Track 2 - synth B (Bass sound)

Could anyone pls tell me if I can use the DAW to split the keyboard say synth B (c0-c2) where synth A (C3-C4) ? And then play them all at the same time. My Korg M3 can do similar things don't know if the DAW can do it.

Thanks!

You can do that. Set up your keyboard splits to send data on different midi channels, activate those midi channels for the tracks you want to play, activate both tracks in Studio One, and play. :)

The short answer is you absolutely can do this in Studio One.

The long answer, well that follows;
Open the Track Inspector view (F4 key), look for Note FX there.
Click the "+" symbol there, insert "Input Filter" , you may need one of these for each range setting.
And for sure one on each instrument, but one Keyboard can feed both.

I believe there is another way using the new Multi-Instrument in the newest version of S1, but I haven't messed around with it much just yet.
Digital Studio: Studio One Pro 3, and too many plugins to list

Drag a multi instrument from the browser to a track
Load the two synths inside the multi instrument
Move the key ranges to taste
Done
