Hi,
I've got Wavelab Essential from several years ago which I understand to be just a stereo / mono audio editor.
Is Wavelab Pro a multi-track audio editor like Cool Edit Pro [now Audition]?
Thanks
Wavelab Pro

I have licenses for both Wavelab Elements (for my laptop) and Pro (for my desktop, main DAW system).
Elements is an excellent audio/sample editor. (Up to 3 tracks.)
Pro is a mastering/converting/media-producing powerhouse. (Over 1000 tracks.)
There's a detailed comparison here: https://www.steinberg.net/en/products/w ... ne_up.html

Do beware that if you pay a billion dollars for WaveLab Pro 9, it probably won't run under Windows 11 and you'll have to spend another brazillion dollars for a compatible version.
Or, at least, that's what happened with WaveLab 4. And Clean. And probably Cubase VST 5, if I could be bothered to endure infinite random menus hell again.
