Recording position in LiveSlice

Hi all,

I've spent quite a while trying to get to grips with a lot of the buttons and functions in the LiveSlice VST.

I'm a guitarist playing through Ableton Live. (I'd like to use LiveSlice to sort of expand upon the type of stuff a band called Minus the Bear already do/have done on guitars - they used multiple Line6 DL-4 units).

In LS I plan to hit record (via a key on my MIDI foot controller - I use a SoftStep), record audio from my guitar for 8 beats or whatever length, and then (hopefully!) immediately just be able to trigger the 8 slices of the 8 beats.

The problem I'm having is that in an instance of LiveSlice, when I record it always seems to pickup from some arbitrary point where the recording last ended within the 8 (or 16 or 2 etc) beat recording loop.

Is there any way to be able to get LiveSlice to always record from the beginning of the first slice when I hit record? Or at least a quick button to "reset" the position it will record from to 0.0.0?
