The main problem in a music production set up is that the music keyboard and the computer kb more ergonomic position is the same: 60-70cm from the floor, so it's difficult to accommodate them. I finally got comfortable placing both at the same height.
Since the space is short I also exchanged a normal mouse for a trackball, and for getting the monitor in a comfortable position I use a monitor arm.
Help! Where to put huge midi keyboard in my small one-room?

Thanks all! I've rearranged things and am using a smaller keyboard now and it seems to be working well. Just getting good at switching the octave knob on the fly. Also used a small flat screen for a second monitor and WOW it is so much nicer to have two workspaces to drag around plugins and have a piano roll open at the same time. This'll work out.

meldavid, crazy question... If you're trying to find one that has the feel of Apple's keyboards... why not... buy an Apple keyboard?
