Hi Everyone,
I'm Brent, 24 yrs old.
Finally getting into music production seriously. By that I mean I messed around in fl studio when I was younger stopped now about 10 years later I have decided I want to learn how to do things right. when I was in grade school I played piano and viola completely forgot how to play and now I'm re teaching my self to play the piano, learning music theory, and learning the ins and outs of ableton.
My end goal is EDM but on the way to that I would really enjoy making some classical pieces too.
If anyone has any good pointers for a beginner would appreciate it and I look forward to learning some things

There are some cool tools out there to help. For example music theory and composition books paired with something like StaffPad running can be awesome to learn basics. Just throw the book and tablet in a backpack and drag it with you everywhere....
