Hi there !
If you guys don't know what Vocaloid is, it's basically just a voice synthsizer created by Yamaha and Voctro Labs in 2004 in Spain (http://vocaloid.wikia.com/wiki/Vocaloid_Wiki). However, because of Hatsune Miku, Vocaloid is now seen as a Japanese anime thing even though it's not. So, right now i'm really interested in them (especially IA), but as a person who doesn't want to be associated with anime, should I go for it ?

Why wouldn't you want to be associated with something that has a massive following?
EDIT: Broke the trend.

There are other threads in the Instruments forum with similar questions, and answers. You'll probably find it rewarding to search for them.

I have toyed with Vocaloid and you can get some good-ish results but it takes an enormous amount of time to make it sound real
